Gungnir - The Spear of Odin
This bespoke piece was created here in The Raven Forge workshop by Jacob, inspired by Odin; The All Father. The shaft has been part burnt and waxed whilst still warm to bring out the grain of the wood, then hand-wrapped in grips of thick brown leather. Where the eye of Gungnir meets the haft, there is a hand-forged steel Mjolnir. The spear tip is made of high carbon steel complete with intricate acid-etched detail. This would look incredible on display either on its own as a stand out piece, or as part of a Viking-themed collection. The title of All Father deserves a statement piece and we understood the assignment!
