Miniature Sallet Helmet

This is a miniature replica of an Sallet, a type of knightly helm favoured across Europe throughout the medieval period for its versatility and high level of protection. The hinged faceplate could be lifted up to improve visibility and breathability, or lowered for more protection- this feature is also present on this miniature version, making for a great interactive decoration!

This miniature helmet comes complete with a wooden stand and makes for a great desk (or mead bottle!) ornament.
